Canvas Wrap Wall Art
Canvas prints are a timeless way to display your favorite images—no glass, no glare, just beautiful texture and depth that stands out on the wall. Ours are printed on a glossy canvas finish for vivid color and crisp detail. Keep reading to learn more about our canvas wrap service, or head straight to our online ordering portal to place your order.
1. Pick your size
- Starting from sizes from 8x8" up to 40×48".
- Custom sizes available—ask us to mix bars for the exact dimensions you want.
2. Choose canvas thickness
- 1.25" or 1.75" deep bars for that gallery look.
- Depth options vary by size. Canvas prints 11×14" and smaller are available only in 1.25" depth, while prints 24×30" and larger are available only in 1.75" depth.
3. Decide your edge style
- Image Wrap (photo wraps around sides - not great for photos with important detail near the edges).
- Black or White Edge (+$10, selectable online. Other colors can be requested with consultation).
- Mirror Wrap or Custom Edge Color (+$10, select black or white edge and request mirror in the notes or during consultation in-store).
4. Check image quality
- For most orders, upload online.
- For larger pieces (≈ 16×20" and up) or if you’re unsure about sharpness, contact us for a quick file check.
- Optional test print available to preview color and detail before we print the full canvas.
5. Enhance if needed (optional)
- We can upscale, sharpen, and lightly retouch starting at $10.
- Great for phone photos or older images you want to enlarge.
6. Select Hardware
- Add a sawtooth hanger with bumpers for $5, or choose no hardware if you prefer your own hanging method so that there is absolutely no gap between the canvas and the wall.
Canvas FAQs
- Images with rich colors, moderate contrast, and some texture translate beautifully to canvas.
- Consider how close viewers will stand to the piece—larger prints benefit from higher-resolution files.
- Landscapes, portraits, and art reproductions all work well, but subtle details near edges may get lost with wrapped edges unless you choose the mirror-wrap option.
- Image Quality: Phone photos or heavily cropped images may appear soft when enlarged. We offer file enhancement and restoration services—starting at $10—for basic retouching, sharpening, and upscaling.
- Color & Brightness: Screens are often more vibrant than printed materials. A test print helps ensure your print looks the way you expect.
- Size & Aspect Ratio: Make sure the print size matches the proportions of your photo (e.g., 4×6 vs. 8×10). Our online tool will show you if part of the image is being cropped.
